The information has to be converted into intelligence through a process which is known as the intelligence cycle. The purpose of this cycle is to help the analysts to produce the intelligence. The total intelligence cycle is a step by step process. The first step is planning and knowing the requirements of the plan, in this stage the process begins with identifying the requirements of the total process. This process also helps in order to get the idea of specific collections they will need for the process to be completed.
